Event Details

The US-China Aviation Cooperation Program ("ACP"), CAAC, and the Boeing Company are holding the fourth Airline Operations Safety Symposium in Xiamen, China, November 6-7, 2019, with the purpose of enhancing safety and addressing critical issues to support China's growing aviation industry.


The exchange will bring together senior industry experts from both countries to enable the development of an optimized safety environment in China. This year, we are focusing on Continued Operational Safety (COS). ACP wishes to express its thanks to Boeing for sponsoring this important Safety Symposium and helping ACP adhere to its commitments under the 2015 CAAC-ACP MOU on safety.



Objectives

  • Promote and enhance airline safety in China
  • Share relevant safety experience with CAAC and other aviation stakeholders
  • Build upon 2018 Airline Operations Safety Symposium content and update on the latest safety practices
  • Contribute to China's aviation development


Audience

CAAC will invite approximately 170 representatives from Chinese airlines, inspectors, aviation universities, flight schools, research institutes, and others important to aviation safety.
