The inaugural Women Empowerment Awards in China will recognize trailblazing individuals and innovative companies who have demonstrated a robust commitment to promoting women in the workforce in order to encourage greater gender equality and drive stronger business outcomes in China. All finalists and winners have been selected by a panel of expert and impartial judges who were invited based on their engagement in the topic of gender equality, establishment within their field of work, and advocacy for women empowerment.

The Awards will be a celebration of individuals who are courageous, committed, and influential role models in the community and of companies that are market-leading in their approach to gender equity and advancement of women in business in China. This year, the finalists of six Awards will be recognized and the winners will be announced at the Women Empowerment Awards in China on June 18.
