Event Details
National Geographic's photo exhibition is currently being held in Shanghai and Beijing. The exhibition features nearly 100 classic images on female themes from National Geographic over the past century, showcasing how women have navigated the world's evolution with resilience and vibrancy. These works have all been contributed by National Geographic photographers, including the renowned John Stanmeyer.
John Stanmeyer is known for his profound photography on social and environmental issues. His work often focuses on global cultures, conflicts, and human conditions, aiming to convey strong social messages through imagery. His photography covers a range of regions and themes, including the AIDS crisis in Africa, immigration issues in Asia, conflicts in the Middle East, and the impact of climate change.
On August 29, we invite John Stanmeyer to share the narratives and experiences behind his photos during a special sharing session in Beijing. John will help us to examine how female power has overcome obstacles to become a shining light in the world. A interactive session with John will follow.
