Teresa Lu is a senior director of corporate affairs at Walmart China, where she leads Walmart's central government relations, policy advocacy, CSR and sustainability.
Prior to her work at Walmart,Ms Lu was a senior director at APCO Worldwide leading the company 's strategic and business development activities in Greater China as well as its public affairs and corporate advisory work stream.
Ms Lu started her career as a civil servant at the Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province, focusing on business, educational and cultural exchanges between Hainan and foreign countries.During her time working for the government, she also played an important role in the Boao Forum for Asia, which is one of the most reputable international forums hosted by the Chinese government.
In addition to her experiences within the government, she worked for two leading multinational companies in China, where she supported business activities by building trusted relationships with stakeholders.Her corporate career began at HSBC as an external relations officer, supporting HSBC'S relations with the central government and industry. Afterwards, Teresa joined CapitalLand Limited, one of the biggest real estate companies in Asia, to support the entry of their commercial real estate business into the Chinese market. There, she played an important role I the establishment and development of the company's strategic communications and corporate responsibility.
Ms. Lu holds a Bachelor of Arts from North China University of Technology and an MBA degree from the University of Cambridge with a concentration in environment and energy management.

Tina has over 18 years of brand consulting, operational marketing, and market research experience, serving clients from various industries to establish vision and strategies to grow business in challenging conditions, develop innovative marketing plans and enable business decisions with “big data” and analytics.

Prior to working at Nielsen, Tina had worked for several leading multinationals such as Interbrand and ran her own consulting firm.
Tina received an MBA in Marketing and General Management from China Europe International Business School(CEIBS).

Before Nestle, she has worked in P&G more than 10 years on Digital Marketing, CRM and E-commerce. Her whole career so far is focusing on driving and leading the Digital Transformation for top FMCG brands and companies.
