Kenneth Zhou is a partner in Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP's Asia Corporate Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2004.

Zhou's practice focuses on foreign direct investment, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliance, general corporate, anti-trust and regulatory matters, FCPA and investigations, and international dispute resolution. He has advised foreign companies in high-tech, media and entertainment, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, banking, and financial services, publishing, consumer product, and services industries with respect to their strategic expansion in China. Zhou has also advised leading Chinese companies on their outbound investments, M&A, and strategic expansion in the U.S. and Europe. In addition, he is also experienced in private equity and venture capital transactions, capital market, foreign trade, and WTO matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Zhou was a corporate attorney and a member of the China Practice Group at Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP, where he worked in New York, Hong Kong, and Beijing.

Before Paul Weiss, Zhou participated in the establishment of AllBright Law Offices, a leading law firm in China. He also served as general counsel of Shanghai Alliance Investment Limited, the investment arm of the Shanghai Municipal Government.

Zhou also served as former General Counsel of the American Chamber of Commerce in the People’s Republic of China.

Amanda (Qin) Zhang is an assurance partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers Beijing and a US CPA. She is also the technology and private equity leader in north China. Her expertise is in assisting companies that plan to list or have listed on US stock exchanges. She helps those companies to meet the financial reporting requirements and to become well run companies.

She gained expertise in US generally accepted accounting principles and SEC requirements and technology knowledge during her seven years with the Silicon Valley office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. During that time, she worked on the audits of public companies including Applied Materials, Tencor, Proxim, ESS Technology and Trident Microsystems. She also helped AXT, Premisys and Sage to complete their initial public offerings.

Subsequent to her transfer to the Beijing office of PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2000, she has helped six companies, CNC Group, Vimicro, Perfect World, China Massive Media, 58.com and Jumei to successfully complete U.S. initial public offerings. Other major clients she has served in China include IDG, JD.com, Sina, Weibo, UT Starcom, China Unicom, IBM, EMC, Nokia and Cisco. She is also focused on helping technology start up companies to get ready to become listed companies. Some of her start up clients are Didichuxing, Kuaishou, Lianjia and Ziroom, for which she provided many recommendations for improvements after audit. She also help to line up other experts to help start up companies becoming a well run company.

Amanda enjoys helping companies to prepare for IPO and to position the company for life as a public company. As challenges arise due to new business transactions or changing business environment, Amanda works with her clients to gain understanding of the underlining business issues in order to reach the optimal solutions.

Based in Beijing, Gary leads the Blueshirt Group’s Asia practice. Gary brings significant capital markets and media expertise to Blueshirt. Before joining Blueshirt from a competing IR firm, he had two decades of experience as a portfolio manager and analyst in the institutional investment management business. Gary co-founded an investment boutique that successfully IPOed a closed-end mutual fund (NYSE:FAV); was a portfolio manager on a long-short equity fund; and was a co-portfolio manager (covering technology) for an institutional small cap strategy with over $4 billion of AUM. From 2004 through 2014, Gary was a high profile contributor to Jim Cramer’s Real Money financial news website. Gary earned his MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Gary earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1996.
