Event Details
AmCham China is pleased to provide a briefing for our members on the latest findings from Brunswick's China sentiment-tracking research. This exclusive, off-the-record event will be conducted in English and is scheduled to take place on June 11.
This research seeks to understand perceptions of topics at the intersection of China and business-critical issues among the Chinese general population and a global, informed, and engaged audience from 12 markets across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Middle East, and Africa.
Since 2019, there have been multiple waves of surveys tracking sentiment across many of these important markets.
This remains the only tracking study in the market that surveys audiences both inside and outside of China to explore how geopolitical issues are impacting their attitudes and behaviors on business issues. The research is not publicly available and is only being shared in exclusive briefing sessions.
The latest research covers the following themes:
- How the Chinese public feels about the current domestic economic environment, and how their concerns impact spending habits
- Outlook on the recovery of the Chinese economy and if consumers have faith things will get back on track
- Chinese opinion of multinational businesses operating in China, including which countries and specific companies they see as making the greatest positive local impact
- The connection between strong social local impact initiatives and impact on Chinese consumer decision making
- International attitudes towards business, trade, and investment connectivity between their markets and China
- Global attitudes towards multilateral and bilateral engagement with China, and the impact of US-China competition on populations around the world
- Exploration of the drivers of different attitudes towards China when comparing the opinions of developed and emerging markets
