Join us for an insightful briefing on the outcomes of the fifth Vice-Ministerial meeting of the US-China Economic Working Group, held on September 19-20 in Beijing. Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs Jay Shambaugh and China's Vice Minister of Finance Liao Ming led productive discussions with representatives from various agencies. They exchanged views on policies that support balanced growth in the domestic and global economies and continued discussions related to issues of concerns raised during Secretary Janet L. Yellen's visit to China in April.
