AmCham China MSSC (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain and Customs) Committee is excited to launch a new elite master series this year: AmCham ChinaManufacturing & Supply Chain Navigator Program!


The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Navigator Program is dedicated to build an ever-expanding group of young professionals and leaders capable of carrying the AmCham China MSSC community forward. Our mission is to nurture professionals who are interested in Manufacturing & Supply Chain by encouraging them to closely engage with members and senior leaders of the AmCham China MSSC community and leading companies in the supply chain industry. The five-month program selects qualified China-based applicants of all nationalities working in different companies, industries, and with varying experience levels. The program is designed to acknowledge professionals with in-depth insights and strategic practices among manufacturing and supply chain industry, and to help candidates better succeed in China.


About the Program


The AmCham China Manufacturing & Supply Chain Navigator Program is an exclusive, high-profile, five-month program developed by the Chamber's MSSC Committee. The program aims to prepare the future generation of manufacturing and supply chain leaders and professionals who are interested in exploring success strategies within the industry. This year, the MSSC Committee at AmCham China intends to select 15 to 20 of the best-suited candidates to participate in the program.


Candidates of the Navigator Program will gain full exposure to the US-China business community, especially in manufacturing and supply chain. Each month there will be one 1.5-hour session covering topics such as operation excellence, industry 4.0 and digital transformation, localization partnership, future energy strategies, etc. Successful candidates will be awarded an "Manufacturing & Supply Chain Navigator Program" certificate of completion at the End of Program Gala Dinner in September 2024.

Program Agenda

The program requires attendance of one 1.5-hour session (7PM to 8:30 PM on a selected weekday) per month starting in May and ending in September. Networking opportunities are incorporated through social dinners and activities. Program sessions are led by senior leaders and industry experts of the AmCham community, particularly within MSSC Committee. Sample topics covered are (NOTE: These are just sample topics for the 2024 Navigator Program curriculum; the final topics and dates will be confirmed after the 2024 Navigator Program cohort is selected.):


Session 1: Aerospace Supply Chain Excellence by speaker from Boeing (The week of May 20)

Session 2: Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation by speaker from Cummins (The week of June 10)

Session 3: Green Manufacturing and Sustainability (topic subject to change) by invited speaker from Member Company (The week of July 22)

Session 4: Localization and Supply Chain Partnership by speaker from Albemarle (The week of August 5)
