Craig Abler was named to lead the Supply Chain Asia team effective August 14, 2020. In this role, his primary responsibility is developing and executing company-level strategies for Asia. This includes identifying new market opportunities, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting production.

Previously, Craig served as the Director of Manufacturing Strategy & Standards in Enterprise Manufacturing & Supplier Performance responsible for integrating manufacturing strategies, standards, and priorities across the enterprise.

Beginning his Boeing career in 2006 in what is now BR&T, Craig has served in international and domestic roles of increasing responsibility, to include:
• 787 Engineering
• Supplier Management Field Operations
• BCA Fabrication and Airplane Program Quality
• BCA Fabrication Manufacturing Business Unit Leadership

Craig is a US Army Veteran who served as a Signal Corps Officer. He held various positions including Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Battalion Staff Officer; and participated
in the Kosovo Defense Campaign. Craig is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with degrees in
management, materials science, and electrical engineering.

David Song, Cummins China Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation Director, leads its China supply chain strategy and digital transformation initiatives in Industry 4.0 space. He also served multiple roles in business planning, finance and shared service operations in China, Japan and Korea. Prior to Cummins, he worked for other multinational companies in the US and Canada.

Manager of Business Development, Supply Chain Asia at Boeing (China) Co., Ltd.

Eddy Chen is the manager of China BD – BCA, Supply Chain Asia. He is responsible for Supplier and Business Development in China, focus in areas including raw materials, interiors, structures and composites, etc. He has worked with all the stakeholders, internal and external, for the China region, which is the largest commercial airplane market in the world.

Other Boeing functional experiences include Supplier Management, Manufacturing Innovation Center, China Aviation Industry Executive Development Program and training programs to China suppliers.

Eddy started in Boeing as a manufacturing engineer. Provided consulting, training and technical support to Boeing partners in China. Experienced in lean manufacturing, metrology, assembly and qualification process of highly complex aviation mechanical systems and products.

He earned Master’s degree in Systems and Engineering Management from Texas Tech University and EMBA degree from University of Maryland.

Sophia Xiao is the Energy Storage APAC Supply Chain Director of Albemarle. In this role, Xiao takes the regional GBU responsibilities of end-to-end supply chain process, on-time in full delivery, drive, and implement the supply chain strategy in the region. Xiao has solid Supply Chain and Logistics experience in APAC. She is also passionate about finding creative solutions to enhance the entire value chain’s efficiency, deliverability, and fulfillment.

Before joining Albemarle, Xiao worked for INVISTA – a Koch Company for more than 5 years. At INVISTA, she held various APAC logistics positions in both Corporate and Business Unit.

In addition, Xiao had also worked in key Supply Chain roles at LyondellBasell for more than 8 years. During this time, she has accumulated diverse multinational and cross-functional experience by engaging in logistics and supply chain operations across the Asia-Pacific region.

Xiao graduated from Nanchang Hangkong University, majoring in English Language. In 2019, she obtained her EMBA at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA).

Dwight Nordstrom has over 30 years of experience in doing business in China. Since 1990, he has been the Chairman (initially President) of PRI, a USA manufacturing-holding company with 25+ equity investments in China. PRI looks at average of 10-15 investments/year in order to select 1-2.

PRI also has a consulting division (Beijing & Shanghai primarily locations) with support functions for start-up and/or expansion of manufacturing and application engineering in China. Mr. Nordstrom has been General Manager “GM” of 8 factories/businesses in China with employment ranging from 30 to over 750. He has been interim GM for 2+ year at PRI’s 100%-owned media division ZDL – largest Judeo-Christian ethics-content publisher in China. He was also, in the late 1980’s, the China Country Manager for one of GE’s divisions -- this was a GE HQ-corporate position.

Mr. Nordstrom has written, on average, 1 published article per year since 1990. He has served on 15+ board of directors as well as been executive “coach” for many China Country Managers. He has a MBA from University of Houston, undergraduate from TCU and did 2.5 years of graduate studies at Fletcher (Tufts/Harvard) & Yale.
