AmCham China is proud to announce the second 2018 CMO Breakfast Series. The CMO Series is the first-of-its-kind event series that brings the community of Beijing executives together to make new business contacts, share ideas, and discuss marketing strategies through interactive networking.

For the second 2018 CMO Breakfast Series we are pleased to welcome:

Scott Kronick, CEO at Ogilvy, Public Relations & Influence, Asia Pacific, a 31-year veteran of Ogilvy & Mather, having started his career with Ogilvy Public Relations in New York in 1987. Scott is a regular contributor to leading mainstream media, including The Washington Post, China Daily and the South China Morning Post, as well as trade publications, such as Campaign Asia and PR Week. Scott is also a keen writer and has authored a number of successful books, including "The Lighter Side of China" - reflecting on his professional and personal life in Greater China.

During this breakfast discussion, Scott will share his insights on how to protect your brand in turbulent times.Creating a strong brand can be the difference between making your business successful or sinking your ship before you even get started. Often people think simply registering a trademark is all they have to do, and they've hit the brand jackpot. However, a chief component and underlying thread to your brand's success is keeping your brand strong and preventing dilution. If your brand is no longer distinguishable from another seller in the eyes of the public, you are risking losing your intellectual property protection under the law.

Join us on Friday morning, May 25th at Kerry Hotel, for new insights from a distinguished CEO and amazing networking with other executives in the AmCham China community.
