Horace Chow currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, China, responsible for all sales and marketing across Microsoft China. Horace reports to Alain Crozier, Corporate VP, Chairman and CEO of Microsoft China.
Horace is a data management, business intelligence and enterprise mobility industry veteran. As general manager of Microsoft Hong Kong Limited, Horace Chow oversaw overall strategy, business operations and outreach for the company in Hong Kong. He has led the team to continuously enhance Microsoft's influence in Hong Kong, strengthen the relationship and cooperation with the Government, expand the partnership with local partners, and provide the best cloud, productivity, big data and IoT services to large, medium and small-size customers across the financial, entertainment, real estate, trade and logistics, tourism, and services industries to enable their digital transformations.
Prior to his appointment as general manager of Microsoft Hong Kong, Horace served as vice-president and general manager of Database & Technology for SAP China. In that role, Horace was responsible for the overall strategic development of all SAP database offerings and for driving business performance.
Prior to SAP, Horace was the vice-president for Asia Pacific and general manager for North Asia region at Sybase, where he was responsible for financial performance and market leadership in the China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea markets. Before Sybase, Horace was a manager in the IT Consulting Practice of KPMG Management Consulting.
Horace graduated in Computer Studies from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom.

Eric Hirsch is the head of JLL’s Commercial business in Beijing. He is responsible for developing strategy, business priorities and driving international best practices for the Firm and is a member of the Regional Tenant Representation Board. A true leader in Beijing’s office space market, in 2015, Eric led over 200 Beijing leasing transactions covering over three and a quarter million square feet. Eric has a superb 85 percent repeat business rate and extremely high client satisfaction scores, along with the lowest team staff turnover in Beijing. Eric has been with JLL in Beijing since 2004 and was instrumental in building up the Firm’s local tenant representation team prior to assuming his current role as the head of Markets. Alan Beebe was appointed President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China on Mar. 14, 2016.

Alan was an Executive Director based in Beijing, leading EY China’s Cleantech and Supply Chain and Operations (SC&O) practices. His clients include major global corporations, primarily diversified industrials and high-technology companies operating in China.

Prior to joining EY, Alan held Executive positions with the China Greentech Initiative (CGTI), IBM, and management consulting firms AT Kearney and PRTM. He has twenty years of management consulting experience in the US, China and other Asian countries helping clients develop and implement sound business, operations and technology strategies. At EY China, he helps global clients transform their business models to drive new revenue opportunities and preserve profitability in China’s changing economic climate.

From 2010 to 2013, Alan was a Managing Director with CGTI, a collaboration platform serving over 50 international energy and environmental companies. At CGTI, he led advisory services and strategic research across all major areas of energy and cleantech. In 2014, CGTI merged with the Paulson Institute, founded by Hank Paulson.

Alan holds a Master’s degree from Yale University in International Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the United States. He is a Board of Advisor of the Yale Club of Beijing and in that capacity promotes academic and cultural exchanges between the United States and China. Alan has lived in China since 2002 and speaks Chinese fluently.

She was the First Secretary (Labour Attache) on Policy at the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in the United States during early 2012 to June, 2017. Prior to that, she held various assignments at the International Cooperation Department including Director of the Division of International Staff and International Treaty, Director of the Division Technical Cooperation and Deputy Director of the Division of Overseas Employment. She started her career with the MOHRSS in 1996, working in the Department of General Affairs .

Ms Qian holds Master Degree in Economics from Renmin University of China (1996) and Master degree of Arts from Oxford University (2005). She got her Doctor degree of Law from Tianjin Nankai University in 2008.

Ms Qian was married and has one daughter.

Ms. Zhihong Mei serves as the Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Administrative Commission of the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Area (TEDA). The TEDA Investment Promotion Bureau is a part of the TEDA aimed at promoting both international and domestic investment in the Tianjin Economic Area, while also serving as the local branch of the Tianjin Commission of Commerce. Ms. Mei leads the team working with various organizations and companies to facilitate their establishment in and relocation to the Tianjin Economic Area. Over the years, many renowned companies have made significant and successful investment in TEDA, including: Otis, John Deere, FAW-VW, Volkswagen, Standard Chartered, Tencent, and Didi.

Ms. Mei joined TEDA in 1997, and has held different positions including investment promotion and the foreign affairs office.

Ms. Mei finished her Post-Graduate study of Economics in Nankai University and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Tianjin University.

Mr. Bin Xia is currently the Deputy Director of Yantai Investment Development Board, Shandong Province. He has been engaging in Europe and the United States investment project promotion and capital introduction work for 18 years. He facilitated the introduction of several Fortune 500 companies, including Metro AG, Siemens Education Base, Schneider-Electric Yantai Laboratory, ERGO Insurance Group AG, Chateau Lafite Rothschild, Amis and etc, and has rich experience in investment promotion and capital introduction. In addition, Mr. Xia Bin is also responsible for organizing economic and trade activities with Europe and the United States.
Mr. Xia graduated from Ludong University in Yantai with a major in English. He holds a postgraduate degree from Shandong Provincial Party School.

He currently serves as a Growth and Partnerships Manager at VIPKID. He works on recruitment, marketing, and business development for the company’s “supply side”, which hosts 40,000+ online teachers delivering daily instruction to 300,000 children in China.

Prior to VIPKID, Thomas spent three years at Teach For China (TFC). He began his education career as a teacher and teacher trainer, after which he served as a fundraising manager for TFC. During his five years in China, he has lived and worked in Beijing, Guangdong, and Yunnan.

Thomas earned two Bachelors of Arts in Justice/Law and Strategic Communication at American University in Washington D.C.

Prior to Dell, Tina served as project manager at China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) for International Chambers of Commerce (ICC) affairs. Tina has also served at Parliament of Australia and Peru’s Challenge (a NGO develops sustainable schools and communities in Peru).

Bing earned her master degree at the Australian National University and bachelor degree at Waseda University & Macquarie University.
