The annual Women Economy Summit is the largest gathering of women leaders in the AmCham China community, with a mission to raise awareness of the key role women play in global economic development. The Summit highlights the importance of supporting women leaders and women entrepreneurs by encouraging them to collaborate with leading women's organizations and corporations who are keen to share cutting-edge trends and best practices.
Initiated in 2017 through the joint efforts of the American Chamber of Commerce in China and SCHSAsia, the event is designed to be an energetic and bold experience packed with personal and professional development power for women. Last year, the Women Economy Summit attracted more than 300 professional men and women. The 2018 summit also witnessed the release of the first edition of Women's Leadership in the Workplace White Paper, guiding the community to further develop programs and discussions regarding professional women's positions within organizations. There is an increased call for companies to align strategies, policies and operations with universal principals such as the Sustainable Development Goals, which emphasizes equal pay for equal value. However, globally, the gender gap in the workplace is currently at 23 per cent, which means women earn 77 per cent of what men earn, according to a 2018 report by UN Women.
This year, the Women Economy Summit titled Advancing Women's Prism – Closing the Gap will take place on April 10th, at the Beijing Marriott Hotel Northeast, China.
The Summit will feature a full-day of inspiring keynote speeches, panel discussions, interactive workshops and networking opportunities. It will bring together professional women, corporate leaders, business experts, women entrepreneurs, government officials and academia to support and celebrate women in business around China and globally.
The Summit will also examine international, regional and national 'best practices' towards producing concrete steps companies can take to foster a healthy gender balance, inspire female employees to reach their full potential and unleash the power of the economy.

Clare Fearnley took up the role of New Zealand Ambassador to China in early May 2018, cross-accredited to Mongolia.
Clare has just completed a three year term as Ambassador in Seoul (2015-2017), cross-accredited to Pyongyang. Her previous off-shore roles include Consul-General in Shanghai (1998-2002) and head of the New Zealand Commerce and Industry Office in Taipei (2004-2007), as well as working at the New Zealand Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva (1993-1996), cross-accredited to the United Nations Office in Nairobi. Early in her career she was seconded to the Canadian Foreign Ministry (1992).
While working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Wellington, Clare was most recently Director-General for North Asia and before that was Director-General for Asia-Pacific Regional work. She has served as APEC and ASEAN Senior Official, as well as acting as Principal Legal Adviser and as Head of the Trade Law Unit, where she led international trade litigation, including cases in the WTO. Earlier in her career, her MFAT roles included Deputy Director-General of Trade Negotiations. Before joining the Ministry, Clare worked in the private sector in Asia.
Clare has arts and law degrees from Canterbury University (NZ). She is a Mandarin speaker and studied at Beijing University and at the Beijing Languages Institute in the 1980s.
Su Cheng Harris-Simpson is the Founder of SCHSAsia with over 20 years of working experience in China. Su Cheng has been actively involved in the Beijing business community, managing projects and serving the needs for a number of destinations, not-for-profit organizations, community organizations, and bilateral associations in the areas of strategic event management, fundraising, public and media relations, promotion and marketing.
She is currently Board of Governor of AmCham China and Co-Chair of the AmCham China Women Professional Committee and SME Forum. She was the Executive Director for WEConnect International in Greater China from 2010 to 2017. As a social entrepreneur, Su Cheng works tirelessly to build partnerships and expand opportunities for women owned businesses in China. A large part of this effort is accomplished through outreach initiatives in collaboration with local Chambers of Commerce, corporations and government stakeholders.
Su Cheng is a sought after motivational speaker who has spoken at companies such as Intel, Walmart, KPMG, Cummins, Johnson Controls, Dow, Dell, IBM, Hilton Worldwide, Goldman Sachs and women organizations such as UN Women, All- China Women’s Federation, China Association of Women Entrepreneurs, and many Chamber of Commerce in Beijing and Embassies in China.
Prior to founding SCHSAsia she was engaged in the corporate arena and held management positions at The Boeing Company, United Technologies Corporation, and The Capital Club in Beijing. Su Cheng has a degree in International Business from the University of Washington, and an MBA from Seattle Pacific University.
Colm Rafferty is the Vice President – Asia Pacific for Vermeer Corporation and is Chairman of Vermeer China.
Vermeer is a global manufacturer of innovative solutions used to help connect people to the necessities of life, to help manage precious natural resources, and to help feed and fuel the world. Vermeer products are used in a variety of applications from underground utility infrastructure development, to non-blast surface mining, solar field installation, waste material processing, and agricultural mechanization.
Colm started his career in China 18 years ago in the internet space, as Director for Business Development and employee #120 at Alibaba (NYSE: BABA). He also serves as a member of the International Advisory Board for VIPKID, an Internet education company which empowers over 60,000 U.S. teachers to provide high quality ESL instruction to children across China.
Colm is Vice Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in China.
Colm received an MBA from the Yale School of Management, is member of the Yale School of Management Greater China Advisory Board, and the Yale Asia Development Council.

Robert W. Forden assumed duties as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy Beijing in July 2018. Mr. Forden has been a member of the U.S. Foreign Service for almost 30 years and holds the personal rank of Minister Counselor in the Senior Foreign Service.
Mr. Forden has many years of prior experience living and working in China. He taught English at universities in Shenyang and Beijing in 1981-1983. He served as an Economic Officer in the U.S. Embassy Beijing from 1995-98 and from 2007-2011, and he was Deputy Director and Political Chief of the U.S. Department of State's Office of Chinese and Mongolian Affairs (2005-07). Mr. Forden also served previously as the Deputy Director of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) from 2015-18 and headed AIT's Kaohsiung Branch from 2002-05. He also served at the U.S. Embassies in Tel Aviv and Hanoi.
Mr. Forden has a B.A. in Politics from the University of California and did postgraduate work in International Trade and Asian Diplomatic History at the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy. His foreign languages are Mandarin Chinese and Vietnamese.
Mr. Forden is originally from Southern California and is married to Hui-chuan Chi, an American originally from Taiwan. They have two daughters and a son.
Lin Jialei, Programme Officer of UN Women China, with working area focusing on Women’s Economic Empowerment. She took part in formulation and implementation of projects including Gender Equality and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Women’s Access to Equal Employment and Leadership in China. Since 2015, She has actively engaged in designing and organizing UN Women China’s annual International Conference on Gender Equality and CSR. She has extensive experience in project management and CSR. Prior to joining UN Women, she has relevant work experience in private sector and non-profit organizations in China and the Netherlands.

Cindy Jensen is an Executive Coach and Founder of INPOWER ONE, a consulting firm with a focus in Strategy Development, Executive Coaching and Leadership Development. She has been living in Beijing for over 15 years and works extensively throughout Asia Pacific.
Cindy spent her corporate years working with PepsiCo Foods as part of the Senior Leadership Team working over a span of ten years in multiple functions including HR, Sales & Operations. She later joined TELUS Mobility as National Account Manager overseeing the company’s two largest retail corporate accounts.

Dr. Wei Liu is the Vice President of Dell Technologies and General Manager of China Center of Excellence.
With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Wei oversees operations for offices of Center of Excellence in China, currently across Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu. This position plays a critical role in advancing Dell Technologies’ vision and leadership in Cloud Computing, Big Data and Trusted IT, and in supporting its global growth strategy by accelerating local innovation and incubating service offerings.
Wei joined Dell Technologies from Cisco where he held the role of the Managing Director of Cisco China R&D Center. Prior to that, he served at HP for 21 years in US and China in diverse technical and business leadership roles, including the Director of HP Labs China, Director of Research, Strategy and Planning Manager, R&D Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Senior Research Scientist and Senior Engineer .
Wei has published 30+ conference and journal papers, holds 19 granted and pending US patents in areas of ASIC design, signal process, data management and network technologies. In addition, he sits on leading technical boards including China Big Data Expert Committee and China Cloud Computing Expert Association.
Elisabeth Martin is currently the Vice President of Boeing Research & Technology China, overseeing overall BR & T-C functions. Her main responsibilities include: formulating and implementing Boeing’s R&D strategy in China, establishing and supervising research project portfolios with the aim of delivering mutual benefits for Boeing and China through innovation. She is also responsible for Boeing’s university relationship in China, focused on strengthening Boeing’s presence in China.
Prior to this appointment, she was the Director of Asia-Pacific Safety and Regulatory
Affairs for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and served as Deputy to the 787 Vice President and Chief Project Engineer, overseeing product integrity and reliability for the global 787 fleet. She has held a variety of engineering and management positions in design, build and certification roles and worked for Boeing for 28 years.
Elisabeth began her career at Rolls-Royce Inc. and Douglas Aircraft, which led to a position at Boeing as an aerodynamicist.
Elisabeth, who received her Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and Master’s Degree in Whole Systems Design at Antioch University Seattle, also completed an executive program at Stanford University.
She moved to Beijing with her family in January 2015.
Min Qin is Vice President for Public Affairs of Mars China. She joined Mars in 2018 and leads Mars’ efforts to build and grow strategic partnerships with key public stakeholders at both central and local levels, conduct policy advocacy in key categories Mars operates in, formulate public affairs strategies, and protect and promote Mars’ corporate reputation.
Prior to joining Mars, Min worked with Fonterra and McKinsey, building and leading their external affairs function in Greater China.

Yoke Loon Lim is President, Greater China of The Dow Chemical Company, leading all geographic activities in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Based in Shanghai, China, Lim is responsible for developing and implementing business strategy, engaging and cultivating critical stakeholders’ relationships, and leading the company’s organization in Greater China, Dow’s largest international market.
Prior to being named to the current position, Lim was General Manager of Dow Coating Materials, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, and with additional oversight responsibilities for Advanced Materials in Asia Pacific.
Lim joined Dow through the acquisition of Rohm and Haas in 2009. He started at Rohm and Haas in 2007 as the General Manager of the Coatings business for Southeast Asia. In 2010, he took on additional responsibilities as the Country Manager of Dow Singapore.
Lim spent 11 years with Ciba Specialty Chemicals where he held various leadership roles in sales and marketing, before joining Dow. From 2003 to 2007, he was the head of the coatings business unit for Asia Pacific, during which time he spent three years in Shanghai. He was also the Division Head for the Coatings Effect Segment for ASEAN region, Head of Sales and Marketing Excellence for Asia Pacific region and Regional Technical Marketing Manager for Plastics Additives. Prior to that, he was an engineer with Hitachi Chemical Singapore which specialized in the production of printed circuit boards. He holds the rank of Captain in the Singapore Armed Force with his last appointment being the Company Commander of an Armour Unit.
Lim earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Macquarie University, Australia. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, an Advanced Diploma in Plastics Technology, a Diploma in Chemical Technology from Singapore Polytechnic, and a Diploma in Management from Singapore Institute of Management. He has attended executive management programs at INSEAD, IMD, CEIBS, Wharton and SU. He was a part-time lecturer in Marketing for the Graduate Diploma Program at Singapore Polytechnic.
Born in Spain, Fernando Vallina is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Instituto de Empresa (IE), Spain.
Mr. Vallina joined ExxonMobil Chemical in 1987. He has held a wide range of management positions in sales, marketing, technology, planning and supply chain and lived in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Mr. Vallina was Asia Pacific sales and marketing manager, ExxonMobil Chemical Company, based in
Hong Kong from 1997 to 2001. He was global logistics and distribution manager, ExxonMobil Chemical Company before assuming the position of Chairman, ExxonMobil (China) Investment Co., Ltd. on March 1, 2017.
Mr. Vallina is currently a member of the Board of the Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (AICM), and the Executive Board of the Multinational Companies’ Committee of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF).
Daniel Shih is the Senior Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs, General Counsel, Walmart China. He joined Walmart in 2013, and his leadership roles expanded to Corporate Affairs in 2017. He leads the Legal Division in rendering legal advice on issues that arise from the operations of all business units and functions of Walmart China, including real estate, eCommerce, merchandising, operations, supply chain, M&A, compliance, finance, employment and dispute resolution, and provides counsel on major initiatives and projects. As the head of the Corporate Affairs Division, he leads the team in driving strategic initiatives, building government/media relations both at the central and regional levels to support business expansion, providing strategic counsel to the executive management on public relation and external communication, and working with cross-functional partners, organizations and associations in both the public and private sectors on various corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.
Prior to joining Walmart, Daniel was the Senior Legal Counsel of Asia with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., and was accountable for the legal matters in business operations, joint venture negotiations and strategic M&A transactions in Chinese mainland, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan region. Before that, he worked for Nortel Networks and the international law firm Baker & McKenzie for a number of years.
Daniel serves as a Vice Chairman for the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI).
Daniel holds a Juris Doctor’s Degree from Washington College of Law, American University, an EMBA degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and HKUST, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Southern California.
As CEO of NBA China, Derek Chang oversees all of the league’s basketball and business development in China, including television, digital media, media licensing, marketing partnerships, social responsibility and events including NBA China Games, and extensive fan engagement and community enrichment activities. He leads a staff based in the NBA's Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and Hong Kong offices.
Chang spearheads the NBA’s effort to expand its presence in China as the preeminent sports league in the country. The league has a 32-year partnership with CCTV, 22-year partnership with SMG/BesTV, along with the groundbreaking collaboration with Tencent and a strong lineup of digital media partners including Alibaba, ByteDance, China Mobile Migu and Weibo. The NBA is also focused on basketball and youth development as Chang’s team works with the Chinese Ministry of Education to grow the game throughout the country.
Before joining the NBA, Chang was the Head of International Lifestyle Channels at Scripps Networks Interactive based first in Singapore and then London. Prior to Scripps, Chang was Executive Vice President of Content Strategy and Development at DIRECTV, where he oversaw all content acquisition and production. He previously held senior executive positions with Charter Communications, the YES Network and TCI Communications. He also served on the board of directors of Starz after its public spin-off in 2013.
Chang holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University. He was named one of Cablefax Magazine’s “Top 100 Executives in Cable” and one of the “50 Most Influential People in Sports Business” by Sports Business Journal.

Jenny first joined United Family in 2006. Her career with UFH has involved a variety of functional roles both at the hospital operations level and corporate headquarters. Jenny began first began in the financial operations role at UFH’s Beijing United Family Hospital and later on founded both UFH’s Internal Audit Department and Business Systems Reporting Department. Jenny now leads UFH’s Revenue Operations team across UFH’s hospital network as well as having responsibility for the company’s FP&A function. As CEO of NBA China, Derek Chang oversees all of the league’s basketball and business development in China, including television, digital media, media licensing, marketing partnerships, social responsibility and events including NBA China Games, and extensive fan engagement and community enrichment activities. He leads a staff based in the NBA's Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and Hong Kong offices.
Chang spearheads the NBA’s effort to expand its presence in China as the preeminent sports league in the country. Clare Fearnley took up the role of New Zealand Ambassador to China in early May 2018, cross-accredited to Mongolia.
Clare has just completed a three year term as Ambassador in Seoul (2015-2017), cross-accredited to Pyongyang. Her previous off-shore roles include Consul-General in Shanghai (1998-2002) and head of the New Zealand Commerce and Industry Office in Taipei (2004-2007), as well as working at the New Zealand Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva (1993-1996), cross-accredited to the United Nations Office in Nairobi. Early in her career she was seconded to the Canadian Foreign Ministry (1992).
While working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Wellington, Clare was most recently Director-General for North Asia and before that was Director-General for Asia-Pacific Regional work. She has served as APEC and ASEAN Senior Official, as well as acting as Principal Legal Adviser and as Head of the Trade Law Unit, where she led international trade litigation, including cases in the WTO. Earlier in her career, her MFAT roles included Deputy Director-General of Trade Negotiations. Before joining the Ministry, Clare worked in the private sector in Asia.
Clare has arts and law degrees from Canterbury University (NZ). She is a Mandarin speaker and studied at Beijing University and at the Beijing Languages Institute in the 1980s.
Robert W. Forden assumed duties as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy Beijing in July 2018. Mr. Forden has been a member of the U.S. Foreign Service for almost 30 years and holds the personal rank of Minister Counselor in the Senior Foreign Service.
Mr. Forden has many years of prior experience living and working in China. He taught English at universities in Shenyang and Beijing in 1981-1983. He served as an Economic Officer in the U.S. Embassy Beijing from 1995-98 and from 2007-2011, and he was Deputy Director and Political Chief of the U.S. Department of State's Office of Chinese and Mongolian Affairs (2005-07). Mr. Forden also served previously as the Deputy Director of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) from 2015-18 and headed AIT's Kaohsiung Branch from 2002-05. He also served at the U.S. Embassies in Tel Aviv and Hanoi.
Mr. Forden has a B.A. in Politics from the University of California and did postgraduate work in International Trade and Asian Diplomatic History at the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy. His foreign languages are Mandarin Chinese and Vietnamese.
Mr. Forden is originally from Southern California and is married to Hui-chuan Chi, an American originally from Taiwan. They have two daughters and a son.
Ms. Jackie Gao graduated from the University of Sydney (Australia) in 2009 with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics degree, following her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Auckland (New Zealand) in 2007.
Ms. Gao worked as a clinical dietitian for over eight years at various tertiary hospitals in Australia, including Sydney Children’s Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, Gosford Hospital Oncology Centre, and various Family Medicine centers. Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, she was a senior dietitian at Sydney Children’s Hospital and one of the few dietitians in Australia and New Zealand who specialize in ketogenic diet.
Ms. Gao’s extensive experience of nutrition management comes from managing patients across all age groups, diverse cultural backgrounds, and a vast range of acute or chronic conditions. These include, but are not limited to, infant feeding difficulties, growth issues in children or adolescents, food allergies or intolerances, gastrointestinal conditions (e.g. coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome), various cancers, pre-/post-surgery diet, prenatal and pregnancy nutrition, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, renal diseases, and obesity/being overweight. Yoke Loon Lim is President, Greater China of The Dow Chemical Company, leading all geographic activities in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Based in Shanghai, China, Lim is responsible for developing and implementing business strategy, engaging and cultivating critical stakeholders’ relationships, and leading the company’s organization in Greater China, Dow’s largest international market.
Prior to being named to the current position, Lim was General Manager of Dow Coating Materials, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, and with additional oversight responsibilities for Advanced Materials in Asia Pacific.

Lin Jialei, Programme Officer of UN Women China, with working area focusing on Women’s Economic Empowerment. Elisabeth Martin is currently the Vice President of Boeing Research & Technology China, overseeing overall BR & T-C functions. Her main responsibilities include: formulating and implementing Boeing’s R&D strategy in China, establishing and supervising research project portfolios with the aim of delivering mutual benefits for Boeing and China through innovation. She is also responsible for Boeing’s university relationship in China, focused on strengthening Boeing’s presence in China.
Prior to this appointment, she was the Director of Asia-Pacific Safety and Regulatory
Affairs for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and served as Deputy to the 787 Vice President and Chief Project Engineer, overseeing product integrity and reliability for the global 787 fleet. She has held a variety of engineering and management positions in design, build and certification roles and worked for Boeing for 28 years.
Elisabeth began her career at Rolls-Royce Inc. and Douglas Aircraft, which led to a position at Boeing as an aerodynamicist.

She joined Mars in 2018 and leads Mars’ efforts to build and grow strategic partnerships with key public stakeholders at both central and local levels, conduct policy advocacy in key categories Mars operates in, formulate public affairs strategies, and protect and promote Mars’ corporate reputation.
Prior to joining Mars, Min worked with Fonterra and McKinsey, building and leading their external affairs function in Greater China.
Min holds a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge University and a BA from Foreign Affairs College in China. She was nominated a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum in 2006.
Daniel Shih is the Senior Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs, General Counsel, Walmart China. He joined Walmart in 2013, and his leadership roles expanded to Corporate Affairs in 2017. He leads the Legal Division in rendering legal advice on issues that arise from the operations of all business units and functions of Walmart China, including real estate, eCommerce, merchandising, operations, supply chain, M&A, compliance, finance, employment and dispute resolution, and provides counsel on major initiatives and projects. As the head of the Corporate Affairs Division, he leads the team in driving strategic initiatives, building government/media relations both at the central and regional levels to support business expansion, providing strategic counsel to the executive management on public relation and external communication, and working with cross-functional partners, organizations and associations in both the public and private sectors on various corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.
Prior to joining Walmart, Daniel was the Senior Legal Counsel of Asia with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., and was accountable for the legal matters in business operations, joint venture negotiations and strategic M&A transactions in Chinese mainland, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan region. Before that, he worked for Nortel Networks and the international law firm Baker & McKenzie for a number of years.
Daniel serves as a Vice Chairman for the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI).
Daniel holds a Juris Doctor’s Degree from Washington College of Law, American University, an EMBA degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and HKUST, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Southern California.
Colm Rafferty is the Vice President – Asia Pacific for Vermeer Corporation and is Chairman of Vermeer China.
Vermeer is a global manufacturer of innovative solutions used to help connect people to the necessities of life, to help manage precious natural resources, and to help feed and fuel the world. Vermeer products are used in a variety of applications from underground utility infrastructure development, to non-blast surface mining, solar field installation, waste material processing, and agricultural mechanization.
Colm started his career in China 18 years ago in the internet space, as Director for Business Development and employee #120 at Alibaba (NYSE: BABA). He also serves as a member of the International Advisory Board for VIPKID, an Internet education company which empowers over 60,000 U.S. teachers to provide high quality ESL instruction to children across China.
Colm is Vice Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in China.
Colm received an MBA from the Yale School of Management, is member of the Yale School of Management Greater China Advisory Board, and the Yale Asia Development Council.
Born in Spain, Fernando Vallina is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Instituto de Empresa (IE), Spain.
Mr. Vallina joined ExxonMobil Chemical in 1987. He has held a wide range of management positions in sales, marketing, technology, planning and supply chain and lived in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Mr. Vallina was Asia Pacific sales and marketing manager, ExxonMobil Chemical Company, based in
Hong Kong from 1997 to 2001. He was global logistics and distribution manager, ExxonMobil Chemical Company before assuming the position of Chairman, ExxonMobil (China) Investment Co., Ltd. on March 1, 2017.
Mr. Vallina is currently a member of the Board of the Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (AICM), and the Executive Board of the Multinational Companies’ Committee of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF).
Jonathan is a seasoned leadership trainer, coach and facilitator with over 25 years’ experience in managing operations and developing people. He has worked with global corporations across Asia and the Middle East and is now a full-time management trainer and HR consultant. He is a creative and energetic trainer with extensive experience in leadership and management, problem solving, business development, team building and career development.
Jonathan specialises in applying psychometric instruments to develop leaders and senior executives. He is the Master Trainer for the Leadership Effectiveness Analysis (LEA™), Sales Performance Assessment (SPA™) and Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation (FIRO®). Jonathan is the only practitioner in the world authorised to deliver MBTI® Certification training in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Jonathan facilitates global leadership excellence through his work with the Thunderbird School of Global Management, using the Global Mindset Inventory (GMI®) and coaches C-level and VP-level female leaders across South East Asia and Greater China.
Jenny first joined United Family in 2006. Her career with UFH has involved a variety of functional roles both at the hospital operations level and corporate headquarters. Jenny began first began in the financial operations role at UFH’s Beijing United Family Hospital and later on founded both UFH’s Internal Audit Department and Business Systems Reporting Department. Jenny now leads UFH’s Revenue Operations team across UFH’s hospital network as well as having responsibility for the company’s FP&A function. Since 2006, Jenny has also held the role of Board Director and Chief Financial Officer of UFH’s charity-arm, the United Foundation for China’s Health. She is also involved in the Foundation’s growing operations.
Jenny holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Thunderbird, Graduate School of International Business with a concentration in International Finance. While at Thunderbird, Jenny was selected to receive a full-scholarship under the Starr Foundation’s Student Excellence Scholarship Program. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami where she majored in International Finance & Marketing.
