The factory tour is associated with MSSC Committee's Navigator Program. You do not need to register for this event if you are cohorts of the Navigator Program.


For this event, AmCham China is pleased to invite you for a tour visit of Boeing Tianjin Composites (BTC), where you will be immersed in Boeing culture of safety, quality and integrity as a leading global aerospace company. BTC is equipped with the most advanced aero composites material production machines, workshop and laboratory, and utilizes ERP and IQS systems for material planning, capacity planning, finance transactions and document & order release.


All members are welcome.

  • The ticket does not include any transportation or logistics to BTC. We will meet up in the west gate of BTC around 12:45 PM, and start the tour from 1PM.

    Craig Abler

    Regional Vice President of Asia Supply Chain at Boeing; Co-Chair of Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain and Customs Forum at Boeing (China) Co., Ltd.

    Craig Abler was named to lead the Supply Chain Asia team effective August 14, 2020. In this role, his primary responsibility is developing and executing company-level strategies for Asia. This includes identifying new market opportunities, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting production.

    Previously, Craig served as the Director of Manufacturing Strategy & Standards in Enterprise Manufacturing & Supplier Performance responsible for integrating manufacturing strategies, standards, and priorities across the enterprise.

    Beginning his Boeing career in 2006 in what is now BR&T, Craig has served in international and domestic roles of increasing responsibility, to include:
    • 787 Engineering
    • Supplier Management Field Operations
    • BCA Fabrication and Airplane Program Quality
    • BCA Fabrication Manufacturing Business Unit Leadership

    Craig is a US Army Veteran who served as a Signal Corps Officer. He held various positions including Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Battalion Staff Officer; and participated
    in the Kosovo Defense Campaign. Craig is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with degrees in
    management, materials science, and electrical engineering.
