The labor force participation rate of women in China has long stayed above 60 percent, ranking the first in the world, according to Women's Studies Institute of China. With more women taking private and public sector roles across China and globally, establishing a vibrant women leadership community to make women's voice heard and developing the next generation of female leaders is more important than ever.
Inspired by the U.S. Embassy's recent effort to connect with well recognized women leaders such as former Secretaries of State Drs. Madeline Albright and Condoleezza Rice to passing on their wisdom to younger generations of women, AmCham China would like to further leverage our corporate member assets to reinforce the message of growing our future women leaders out of students in their formative years of leadership.
We invite girls and boys from AmCham China members' families to join us for a day of leadership panel, site visit and facilitated leadership workshop to grow our future leaders for women!

The American Chamber of Commerce in China and the United States Embassy in China are in partnership to continue promoting gender equality and paving the way for awakening feminine leadership for future generations. This event is funded as a gift of the United States Government.
Through facilitated conversations with corporate and public sector leaders and peers from both international and public schools including women and men, the program will achieve the following goals:
