The automotive industry and technology sector are converging, and intelligent connected vehicles including interconnected smart cars, electric vehicles, will change the future of personal transportation. This development and implementation is coming to China and AmCham China member companies are leading the way in technological development through innovations in artificial intelligence and utilization of big data. However, the progress of new interconnected vehicles also presents policy challenges.

Join AmCham China and Microsoft for an event on "Intelligent Connected Vehicles: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Smart Navigation, and Tech Integration Inside Vehicles." Speakers will focus on the software the underpins the development of ICV's, smart grid networks, and emerging technology inside vehicles including gesture and facial recognition, use of scanners and fingerprints in the car. From the Policy perspective, speakers will discuss data transfer and storage, data localization and cross-border data flow, differences between China and the US regulatory environment.
