BACKGROUND

On the Premier Li roundtable

On November 25, AmCham China President Michael Hart sat down with Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Beijing, along with a small group of foreign and Chinese executives. This exclusive, closed-door meeting served as an important platform to discuss strengthening economic and trade collaboration between China and the rest of the world. This is the first time that AmCham China has met with a Chinese Premier since May 2022.

On the US-China Hong Kong Forum

The annual US-China Hong Kong Forum brings together leaders from government, business, and civil society to discuss and share insights on the most consequential bilateral relationship today. On November 15-16, AmCham China Chair Roberta Lipson participated in the 2024 forum and heard directly from the distinguished speakers and attendees. The full agenda of the forum can be found here.
