Influencing Global Team through Effective Meetings
Please note that this course will be conducted in Chinese & English.
Do you communicate effectively when you attend meetings with global colleagues? Do you speak up assertively? Do you contribute actively? Do you jump into the discussion with authority?
If you are passive, silent, and sit in a back corner, what would your colleagues think of you? When you shy away from rocking the boat, what impression do you make? When a colleague says something clearly wrong and you don't speak up, how does that help you succeed?
If you use the wrong choice of English phrases to disagree with others or voice feedback, do your colleagues view you as too aggressive and take offense? Would they want to build professional relationships with you?
This half-day training dives into the nitty-gritty "how-to" of speaking up without speaking down when you have meetings with global colleagues. At the end of the training, you will have a toolbox to voice your opinion logically and with authority, to offer encouragement and support, to disagree constructively, and to strengthen collaboration at the same time. Communicating effectively in this manner helps you to influence others, establish credibility in the company, and build corroborative relationships that opens up future opportunities.
