Please join us for the Chinese Government Affairs Committee (CGAC) 2024 Strategic Planning Meeting on Tuesday, March 12.

Each year, CGAC organizes a strategic planning meeting to review previous year's work (CGAC 2023 Year-end Summary), collect feedback from member companies, and brainstorm action items to best plan our advocacy work. Your suggestions are crucial to us and we hope to better advocate on your behalf, especially under an increasingly complex situation for foreign companies operating in China.

We encourage you to fill out a 5-min CGAC 2024 work plan survey to make your company's voice heard, as we move forward to welcoming you at this year's meeting to discuss the following topics:

Please provide your list of interests/focuses that you would like CGAC to develop this year (please limit your options to 5).
Based on your proposed focuses for 2024, what are your key stakeholders within the Chinese government? Please list them in the order of descending importance to your company. What events/activities would you want CGAC to organize?
Which provinces/cities in China do you want to visit in 2024 to explore business opportunities or engage with local governments? And Why? Please limit your options to 3 provinces/cities.
How would you want AmCham China to advocate for you?
Any suggestions for the 2024 GA Conference? What would you expect to learn from panel discussions? What should be the theme of the conference?

Claire leads the Member Services, Government Affairs & Policy teams, and oversees the Chamber’s Cooperation Programs.

Bing Zhou
Vice President, China Corporate Affairs at Intel
Bing Zhou serves as the Vice President, China Corporate Affairs for Intel, he is responsible for Intel’s communication and cooperation with governments at all levels in China.

Prior to Intel, Bing served at senior management positions of Government affairs at GE, Novartis, Dell and other MNCs. Bing was the Deputy Director of Bo’ao Forum for Asia (BFA) and is an expert on Asian Economic Integration. Bing has also served at MOFCOM for a long period of time.

Bing graduated from University of International Business and Economics and Wuhan University.

Qiang Lv
Divisional VP, Global GA at Abbott
Mr. Qiang Lv is Divisional Vice President of Global Government Affairs at Abbott Laboratories. He is based in Beijing and leads the North Asia Regional Government Affairs team, reports directly to the headquarter. Qiang joined Abbott in 2014 as Vice President of Abbott China, responsible for corporate government affairs and supports the rapid development of Abbott's nutrition, medical devices, diagnostics and established pharmaceuticals in China.

Prior to join Abbott, Qiang was the Corporate Affairs Director of Mars Wrigley. He served several senior positions for corporate affairs and market development in Siemens and Sandoz, the generic division of Novartis before he joins Mars Wrigley.

Qiang was born in Beijing. He was professionally trained in the area of stomatology and medical engineering and received bachelor’s degree from the Fourth Military Medical University of China. He holds EMBA of INSEAD and Tsinghua University.
