    Leading the Forensic Technology Solutions (FTS) team in greater China, a core component in almost all of today's investigative and business dispute assignments, Ramesh has provided Forensic IT services to multinationals, law firms, and to local and public sector organizations including financial sector regulators.

    Responsible for coordinating the FTS practice's activities in Asia Pacific, Ramesh has worked in Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore and the US helping clients with a range of services ranging from investigations, IT forensics, IT audits, security, FCPA violations, IP breaches, cybercrime, employee misconduct and consulting services. His 20 years of experience also includes expert testimony and reporting in the Hong Kong and Singapore High Courts and Singapore International Arbitration Centre.

    Formerly with the Singapore Police where he was responsible for leading criminal investigations and numerous technology management and data security assignments, Ramesh has presented at many conferences and training events organized by universities and professional bodies over the past five years. These include the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium Inc (ISC).

    Ramesh holds Masters of Business Administration and B. Engineering Electrical and is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Encase Certified Examiner, Certified Information Security Manager and Certified Information Systems Auditor.

Bingna represents companies and individuals in internal investigations and enforcement actions, including FCPA/anti-corruption related investigations, fraud, embezzlement, conflicts of interest investigations, compliance risk assessment, and pre-transaction compliance diligence. She also advises companies on comprehensive compliance programs and trainings.

    Bingna has litigated cases in various legal jurisdictions, and provides clients with strategic and case management advice for parallel proceedings involving multiple jurisdictions. She formerly worked in the litigation department of a leading Chinese law firm under secondment, where she litigated cases before Chinese courts. Bingna has extensive relationships with leading local counsel, and is able to effectively coordinate local litigation and counsel on litigation and dispute resolution proceedings in China.
    Prior to joining White & Case, Bingna was a partner of another leading U.S. law firm.

    Bingna was named a Hauser Global Scholar for 2001-2002 at New York University School of Law, selected by an international committee chaired by the President of the International Court of Justice. She is a member of the New York bar, and also passed the Chinese bar examination in 1999.

    Alan Beebe is President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China based in Beijing. He has over twenty-five years of business experience in Asia, including seventeen years in mainland China.
    As President, Alan oversees all advocacy, programs, partnerships and insights provided by the Chamber to support the business growth of nearly 900 foreign corporations operating in China, including most of the U.S. Fortune 500. He leads major advocacy initiatives related to trade tariffs, market access, cybersecurity, Made in China 2025, China’s NGO law and structural imbalances in U.S. – China trade and investment.

    In 2018, he launched AmCham China’s Technology & Innovation Initiative, focused on the business and policy implications of disruptive digital technologies - such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and cloud computing – for U.S. companies in China.
    Prior to joining AmCham China, Alan held various senior executive positions in China with EY, IBM, and management consulting firms AT Kearney and PRTM. He also led a Beijing based start-up for five years, the China Greentech Initiative, which merged in 2014 with the Paulson Institute, founded by Hank Paulson.

    Alan has advised a wide range of corporations and global investors on investing and operating in China. His clients have included global private equity firms, high technology companies, energy related companies, and major state-owned and private Chinese enterprises.

    He holds a Master’s degree from Yale University in International Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the U.S. He is a Board of Advisor of the Yale Club of Beijing and in that capacity promotes academic and cultural exchanges between the U.S. and China. He is a fluent speaker of mandarin Chinese, and reads and writes Chinese. Alan was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska.

    Before joining Oracle, he worked in the Department of Technical Standards and Policy in Intel and Sun Microsystems, respectively. In the years before going to private company, Ding Wei was Associate Professor, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Lecturer in Dept. of E-commerce, Nanjing University.

Technology and Innovation Initiative

Launched in 2018, AmCham China Technology and Innovation Initiative is an insight and collaboration platform designed to help our members and their organizations navigate and take advantage of the impact of disruptive technologies, such as AI, Blockchain, Internet of Things, AR/VR, etc. The Initiative aims to bring together a diverse, cross-sector community of companies applying technologies to innovate in order to share best practices, showcase American technology and innovation at work in China, and deepen relationships between technology providers and adopters.
