For the past 17 years Sheilen has specialized in strategic brand development and results-orientated digital marketing for some of the world’s most iconic brands. Sheilen moved to New York in the mid 90’s, cutting his teeth with a innovate digitally agency, helping build their client roster to include Ralph Lauren and Polaroid i-Zone. He won his first Webby Award in 2000 for the brand launch of Todd Oldham Jeans. He moved to Kirshenbaum and Bond in 2001, helping them set up their digital and direct agency, DotGlu, establishing them as digital AOR for brands such as BMW and Revlon.

He then moved to Europe in 2004 to set up his own design agency servicing several brands such as Calvin Klein, Mavi Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger and MTV. After 5 successful years, he sold the company and travelled to Hong Kong to start a new adventure. In late 2009, Sheilen landed in Beijing and became the Managing Director of Eight Partnership, China. During his 2 year tenure, he increased the client portfolio from a single client, Apple, to a client roster that included General Motors, GIA, Kerry Property, SAS airlines and EA Sports, to name a few.

He joined the Ogilvy Hong Kong family in late 2011, help looking after local and regional clients, including Amex, BlackRock and Louis Vuitton. In 2013 he became Managing Director of OgilvyOne Hong Kong, leading & growing the team to be market leaders in digital and customer engagement. OgilvyOne HongKong was recognized at the ‘Most remarkable’ OgilvyOne office in APAC for 2015. As the Ogilvy ‘new chapter’ started Sheilen became a VP with the Ogilvy RED team, overseeing regional growth in the strategic pillars of digital, customer experience, CRM and automation, overseeing the luxury and hospitality category and strategically leading clients as Ralph Lauren, Nestle, Calvin Klein, VW and Melco Crown in all things digital.

He was instrumental in winning the Asia Miles business (Asia’s largest loyalty program) in 2016 and was integral in the development and implementation of the Adobe Marketing Cloud throughout the Asia Miles business.
