    Jia Yin

    Director of China Gateway at Indiana University

    Mr. Yin joined Indiana University (IU) China Gateway office since its opening in 2014. As the onsite director of the Office, Yin has been playing an instrumental role in assisting IU faculty members to host academic conferences and workshops at the Gateway office; maintaining IU’s existing institutional partnership and identifying and developing new faculty/student exchange and research links with Chinese universities; and supporting IU’s international student recruitment and alumni engagement activities in China.

    Mr. Yin has over 20 years of career experience in the field of international education, including serving as the Deputy Director of the EducationUSA China program at the U.S. Embassy Beijing, Project Officer at the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters in Beijing, responsible for the establishment and support to all Confucius Institutes in eight European countries and Information Assistant at the Career Service of University of Warwick, England.
