Mark your calendar for AmCham China MSSC Committee's Delivering Value through Supply Chain Project Management Workshop on August 23!


As part of AmCham China Navigator Program, we are pleased to invite members for a divine workshop presenting by Project Management Institute (PMI) team about project management with a focus on supply chain, and navigating future with useful project management tools.


PMI is the global authority in project management, committed to advancing the project management profession. PMI serves more than five million professionals including over 680,000 members in 217 countries and territories around the world, with 304 chapters and 14,000 volunteers serving local members in over 180 countries. Its services include the development of standards, research, education, publication, networking opportunities in local chapters, hosting conferences and training seminars, and providing accreditation in project management.


For this event, attendees will get a look at PMI' s latest project management solutions as well as in-depth understanding of value delivery through project management with real life business cases, especially in supply chain industry.


All members are welcome. Navigator Program cohorts do not need to sign up for the event separately.

    Regional Vice President of Asia Supply Chain at Boeing; Co-Chair of Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain and Customs Forum at Boeing (China) Co., Ltd.

    Craig Abler was named to lead the Supply Chain Asia team effective August 14, 2020. In this role, his primary responsibility is developing and executing company-level strategies for Asia. This includes identifying new market opportunities, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting production.

    Previously, Craig served as the Director of Manufacturing Strategy & Standards in Enterprise Manufacturing & Supplier Performance responsible for integrating manufacturing strategies, standards, and priorities across the enterprise.

    Beginning his Boeing career in 2006 in what is now BR&T, Craig has served in international and domestic roles of increasing responsibility, to include:
    • 787 Engineering
    • Supplier Management Field Operations
    • BCA Fabrication and Airplane Program Quality
    • BCA Fabrication Manufacturing Business Unit Leadership

    Craig is a US Army Veteran who served as a Signal Corps Officer. He held various positions including Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Battalion Staff Officer; and participated
    in the Kosovo Defense Campaign. Craig is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with degrees in
    management, materials science, and electrical engineering.
