The Healthcare Industry Group of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) aims to deepen exchanges between China and the United States in the field of healthcare and leverage the advantages of the healthcare industry to promote long-term cooperation between China and the United States in the fields of public health, policy research, and training, thereby assisting the Chinese and American governments in further improving the accessibility of healthcare services. On August 21, AmCham China will hold a forum on "Change and Innovation in Public Health in China and the United States" in New York. Public health professors from renowned universities such as Capital Medical University, Peking University, Central University of Finance and Economics, and executives from innovative healthcare companies in the United States will attend the conference and share their insights.

The forum will focus on the recent changes and practices in public health policies between China and the United States, emphasizing medical innovation and patient access to solutions. Invited speakers will share and discuss their advanced insights on the construction of public health systems, healthcare security systems, and payment model reforms from the perspectives of academic research, policy-making, and healthcare service provision. In today's globalized world, public health issues are no longer confined to a single country or region but are challenges faced globally. Only through international cooperation, with countries sharing experiences and resources, can these challenges be more effectively addressed.
