AmCham China Northeast Chapter is delighted to invite you to join the "Back to School Health Workshop" in collaboration with healthcare professionals from VITUP International Hospital and Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals School-Dalian, which will take place on September 14, from 14:30-16:00. This workshop will equip you and your child with life-saving techniques and essential first-aid skills.

The workshop will cover the following topics and demonstrations:

• First aid training - basic life support (CPR for cardiac arrest and chocking)
• Initial treatment for common injuries at school (nose bleeding, burn, cut, muscle strain)
• Safety and emergency actions
• How to protect from childhood diseases

Being equipped and knowledgeable with the basic first aid treatment in an emergency can save a life. Even in a situation where a life is not at risk, a working knowledge of first aid techniques can limit injuries. Accidents can occur anywhere, and the first few minutes of the onset of the disease are critical to the patient's rescue.
