Women's Professional Committee: Diversity and Inclusion in the Chinese Workplace
AmCham China's Women's Professional Committee invites you to meet Xing Zhou, PwC China and Hong Kong Diversity Leader.
Diversity and Inclusion has been a hot topic in the West for many years but is a relatively new topic in the East, especially in China.
A number of recent media articles have highlighted the lack of women in leadership positions, although more and more companies are looking to build a robust pipeline of talented women to redress the balance in the boardroom.
But is this really enough to bring about the dramatic changes that are needed? How should companies go about creating the right environment to better attract, retain and develop millennial females? How can they foster inclusive talent strategies and a culture of leadership diversity?
Amid this rising interest, our informative discussion will look at how we can build an inclusive, multicultural workplace environment, and consider key questions such as 'why do we need to support Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace?' and 'what can companies do to help create a more diverse and inclusive workplace?'
