Recent Development in China’s International Tax Arena
AmCham China and the British Chamber invite you to attend this Tax Seminar to explore the recent development in China's international tax arena.
During the seminar, we will introduce several income tax treaties that China has entered into or ratified with European countries, including the UK, France, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany. We will also discuss what restructuring opportunities how these treaties may generate for US and European headquartered companies. Finally, we will discuss how the recently promulgated SAT and SAFE circulars affect the ways Chinese companies make non-trade type of remittance across the Chinese border.
Please join AmCham China for a presentation and round table discussion with Abe Zhao and Anthea Wong. Abe is the Partner and Head of International Tax Department of KPMG, who has strong expertise in international merger & acquisition, private equity structuring, supply chain management, real estate investments, IP migration, and FAS 109/FIN 48 analysis etc. Anthea works for PwC, as the Partner and Tax & China Business Advisory. Anthea leads a national team that specialises in providing China regulatory advisory and implementation services, ranging from market entry solutions, PRC structure set-up, cash repatriation strategies to restructuring solutions.
