AmCham China is pleased to host, in partnership with Management Development Services (MDS), the third session of the Skills Training Program, focusing on Conceptual Selling. This course is a two full-day program held at the AmCham China Conference Center. AmCham China and MDS are offering this course, complete with Miller Heiman materials, for a significant discount to our members and employees of member companies.

Miller Heiman is one of the largest sales performance consulting and training firms, focusing on providing high value-business-to-business sales development strategies, processes, and skills.

Members of your organization in field sales, sales support, senior leadership, or sales engineers will benefit from Conceptual Selling. The training focuses on the skills which help connect the sales process to the customer's natural buying tendencies, primary concerns and habits, and how to build a framework to view the sales from a customer's perspective. This course improves the ability to effectively interpret information from prospective buyers to achieve comprehensive and unique solution, and develops a model for future business dealings.

Course Objectives:
• Enable field sales to understand what is important to the customer, increasing sales effectiveness
• Enable sales management and senior leadership to easily identify when to allocate resources to sales calls
• Ensure the sales process is moving forward with every customer interaction
• Transition from a transactional, product-focused sale to a joint-venture and solution-led sale

"Conceptual Selling" is a full two-day course that will be offered in the AmCham China Conference Center. Coffee, lunch, and light refreshments will be provided during breaks.

Trainer - Grace Zhang
The session will be delivered by Grace Zhang, MDS Senior Consultant and seasoned sales, marketing and training professional with over 20 years of experience in the technology sector. She has distinguished herself by training large numbers of sales personnel and staff for major corporations, combining her strong communication skills with her dedication to finding solutions for meeting customers' expectations and needs.

Grace first began her career in sales as Sales Manager with Siemens Nixdorf. After furthering her education in the UK, she joined GE Security as Regional Sales Manager for West China. During her three years there, she was recognized for her outstanding achievements in sales and her invaluable contributions to the team with the GE security Leadership Award. Since 2007 Grace has expanded into a consulting career in marketing, sales and business development, with specializations in sales and technical team performance. She has developed the participative management style used in international companies operating in China.

Grace has degrees in Civil Engineering, English, and Management, as well as receiving her MBA in Marketing at the prestigious University of Liverpool. Fully certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) Steps I & II and the "Selling at GE" program, she is also a certified Psychological Consultant with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (PRC). She has an engaging style and strong interpersonal communication ability which complement her highly effective training skills.
