As the Chinese economy undergoes a process of rejuvenation, more than ever before, the onus is now on business to take an active role in the broader debates on policies and the future of development of industries. Coupled with the significant changes in the global trust environment and trust in business at its highest-ever level in China, there is an expectation for leaders to take the driver's seat to become chief engagement officers.
To discuss these issues and explore the state of trust in China, we would like to invite you to attend a lunch and panel discussion hosted by Bob Grove, North Asia CEO of Edelman.
Grove will present the latest insights from the 2014 Edelman Trust Barometer, which takes a deep look at the level of trust and credibility across the key institutions and explores how well business in China is paying attention to stakeholder needs. The Edelman Trust Barometer, now in its 14th edition, surveyed more than 33,000 respondents in 27 markets around the world, including a total of 1,500 respondents from China, making it the most robust exploration of trust and reputation worldwide.
Grove will be joined by Steven Cao, CEO of the DJE China Group, and a panel of experts from academia, business and communications, to discuss the findings and their implications for business and other key institutions.
The Edelman Trust Barometer China launch is presented in partnership with AmCham China, the China International Public Relations Association (CIPRA) and the Tsinghua University Journalism and Communication School.
