The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) has recently completed a number of high and low profile cases with both favorable and unfavorable results for Chinese investors. These historic outcomes send powerful messages to prospective Chinese investors.
AmCham China cordially invites you to join Eric Meyer, executive chairman, Compass Point Analytics LLC and Jonathan Gafni, current president and chief CFIUS strategist of Compass Point Analytics and former Deputy National Intelligence Officer for CFIUS Support from 2008 to 2013, for a discussion of these decisions and their implications to the foreign acquirer. Both speakers will detail how a new methodology is required to navigate the present CFIUS process.
