How Chinese Investors View the US Investment Climate: Findings from the APCO-China Daily Survey
Join AmCham China's Invest USA Working Group for a discussion on how Chinese investors assess their experience in investing in the United States. China's outward bound investment is growing and is fast becoming a significant factor in the US-China bilateral commercial relationship. Greg Gilligan, Managing Director of APCO Worldwide, will share findings from a survey of 51 Chinese executives conducted in November/December 2012 by APCO Worldwide and China Daily. Survey respondents came from many industries, including banking, manufacturing, R&D, sales, real estate and services. Results suggest most respondents view the US investment experience as successful, notwithstanding cultural differences and unfamiliarity with local regulations.
AmCham China's own 2013 China Business Climate Survey, which describes views of our members engaging in the China market, was released last Friday. This presentation will provide a complementary view of how Chinese investors view operating in the US market. Come and join AmCham China for a timely and important presentation.
