Lunch Conversation with California Governor Jerry Brown
Join AmCham China for a lunch conversation with California Governor Jerry Brown on April 10 at the Peninsula Hotel. Governor Brown and Chris Davies, deputy CEO of HSBC China, will discuss a wide range of subjects important to the US-China relationship including: a carbon-free economy (renewable energy, energy efficiency, zero-emission transportation, grid electrification, telecommunications, land use/development); experience economy (travel/ tourism, entertainment, lifestyle services and technologies); food and agriculture; and financial Services (banking, investment, real estate, insurance). Governor Brown and senior members of his administration are visiting China to focus on building and strengthening the economic ties between California and China. He will also officially open the California-China Office of Trade and Investment.
Speaker: Edmund G. Brown, Jr., known as Jerry, was elected Governor of California in 2010. He previously served as California's Governor from 1974-1978 and was re-elected and served from 1978-1982.
