AmCham China and the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy are pleased to invite you to a lunch presentation with Yukon Huang, a senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment and former World Bank country director for China.

The soon-to-be-anointed senior leadership faces a daunting task in dealing with an economic slowdown and reorienting China's growth model. Many believe that the key will be to rebalance the economy to promote consumption while reducing reliance on investment. Others cite concerns including corruption and social unrest. This presentation will highlight three key choices that the leadership will have to make to fulfill the country's aspirations.
The Carnegie–Tsinghua Center brings together top experts from China and the international community to engage in collaborative dialogue and research with an aim to identify constructive solutions to today's common global challenges. The Center was established in April 2010 through a cooperative agreement between the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and Tsinghua University School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
