Open Dialogue: US-China-India Trilateral Perspectives On Indo-Pacific Security and Cooperation

On May 7th, the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) in partnership with the US-China Education Trust (USCET) and the Institute for Global Cooperation and Understanding at Peking University (iGCU) will continue its Live from Washingtonseries. This open dialogue will be centered around Geoeconomics of the Indo-Pacificregion – examining each country's geo-economic vision for the region, exploring perspectives on regional economic integration and converging interests in protecting sea lines of communication and navigation.
Following the presentations made by each of the three speakers, participants in this closed-door dialogue will have the opportunity for candid discussion and direct engagement with the speakers and other senior participants.
The four speakers include:
YU Hongjun, Former Vice Minister of International Department of the CPC Central Committee;
Rakesh Mohan, Former Director of the International Monetary Fund and Senior Fellow at the Yale Jackson Institute for Global Affairs;
Robert Zoellick, Former President of the World Bank, Former US Trade Representative, and Former Deputy Secretary of State; and
Ambassador Teresita Schaffer, Former Ambassador to Sri Lanka and current Senior Advisor at McLarty Associates.
Together, the speakers will moderate and lead the discussion.
