Robert S. Wang assumed duty as the Deputy Chief of Mission at Embassy Beijing in January 2011. He is a career Foreign Service Officer in the US Department of State. Most recently, he was a visiting fellow with the Freeman Chair in China Studies at the Center for Strategic & International Studies from September 2009 to December 2010.
