Colm Rafferty serves as Vice Chairman of AmCham China's Board of Governors, and is Vice President, Asia Pacific for Vermeer Corporation and is Chairman of Vermeer China.

Vermeer is a global manufacturer of innovative solutions used to help connect people to the necessities of life, to help manage precious natural resources, and to help feed and fuel the world. Vermeer products are used in a variety of applications from underground utility infrastructure development, to non-blast surface mining, solar field installation, waste material processing, and agricultural mechanization.

Colm started his career in China 18 years ago in the internet space, as Director for Business Development and employee #120 at Alibaba (NYSE: BABA). He also serves as a member of the International Advisory Board for VIPKID, an Internet education company which empowers over 60,000 U.S. teachers to provide high quality ESL instruction to children across China.

Colm is Vice Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in China.

Colm received an MBA from the Yale School of Management, is member of the Yale School of Management Greater China Advisory Board, and the Yale Asia Development Council.

As regional head, Mr. Distefano is responsible for setting the strategy and overseeing operations for the Korn Ferry businesses across Asia Pacific. Between 2007 and 2017, he was Chief Marketing Officer of Korn Ferry and President of the Korn Ferry Institute. Mr. Distefano joined Korn Ferry in 2001.

In 2008, Mr. Distefano helped launch the Firm's think tank, the Korn Ferry Institute, and in 2009 Mr. Distefano launched Korn Ferry Briefings on Talent & Leadership, the Firm’s award winning publication.

During the dot-com years, Mr. Distefano was vice president of acquisition marketing and new channel development at GetSmart.com, acquired by Providian Financial Company in 1999 and now part of LendingTree.com. Before joining GetSmart, Mr. Distefano served as director of marketing at Benefits Consultants, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cendant Corporation. Mr. Distefano began his career at TIAA-CREF in New York.

Mr. Distefano earned a bachelor’s in economics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and was named one of the world’s top 500 CMO’s by Exec Rank (ranked 146 in 2014 and 499 in 2012).

Brice Péan was appointed as managing director of Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center on August 1, 2018. A hotelier with a wealth of experience championing hotel preopenings and managing landmark properties, Péan now leads the culmination of Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center’s expansive renovation and launch of 480 rooms, a new executive lounge and a European all-day dining restaurant. Furthermore, as managing director, he drives business performance and operational excellence in the Lufthansa Center complex which includes an office building, serviced apartments and the Kempinski hotel.

Péan has over 30 years of experience in the luxury hospitality field, including senior management roles within Hilton Hotels in Vienna, Cairo, Adelaide, Fiji and Shanghai.

Prior to joining Hilton Hotels in 1999, Péan held positions in various hotels in London, Dublin and Paris. A native of France, Péan has a bachelor’s degree from Fremdenverkehrskolleg Innsbruck University in Austria.

Jenny Ni is the HR Director for Dow China and responsible for the development and execution of strategic HR plans in support of the geographic organization.

Jenny joined Dow in 2006 as Workforce Planning Leader for Asia Pacific and subsequently extended her responsibilities to include India, Middle East and Africa.  Later on she had taken additional role of Diversity & Inclusion Leader for Asia Pacific. Jenny then moved to be Asia Pacific HR Director for various Dow Business Divisions.  In those roles, Jenny had partnered with the business leaders and led HR team to complete the HR integration for the M&A and also provided Strategic HR solutions to support business growth.
