Join us to meet the U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou Commercial Service team, and learn more about what support the U.S. Government can provide for U.S. firms to develop market access and business opportunities in south China.
With a GDP just shy of India's the south China market holds endless opportunities for U.S. firms. The Greater Bay Area Initiative has brought the development of successive layers of new towns – Nansha, Hengqin Island, Zhongshan, Foshan, Dongguan, and of course Shenzhen and Zhuhai, and a blurring or borders with Hong Kong and Macau. Fuzhou and Xiamen are quickly catching up to their neighbors to the west, and Hainan is expecting to be THE healthcare and theme park destination of China. Property developers are stretching their expertise beyond traditional mixed use commercial residential and onto "experiences" in healthcare, education, and entertainment – combining best in class designs and technologies to build a new face of south China.
Betsy Shieh, Principal Commercial Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou, would like to hear about what you're doing in south China and to see how her office can organize their FY2019 annual plan to complement your efforts there.
Please join us for a conversation and small reception held by the pool of our Living Room at the Beijing SLT Office.
If you would like to meet Betsy 1-1, please contact her at elizabeth.shieh@trade.gov to schedule an earlier appointment.
