Please join AmCham China’s Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Forum in conjunction with the US Information Technology Office (USITO) for an event on the development and future trends of Artificial Intelligence in China and the US. Leading US and Chinese companies including IBM, Lenovo, ZTE Corporation and Oracle as well as the Chinese Academy of Sciences will share their perspective on the changes that AI will bring to your business and how businesses in China and the US can successfully navigate a rapidly changing technology landscape.

Through policy initiatives such as the 13th Five-Year Plan and Made in China 2025, China has demonstrated commitment to getting a head start in the race to leadership in Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology and machine learning, principally through promotion of big data technologies, cloud computing platforms, and the Internet of Things.

Moreover, the Chinese government is also supporting companies working towards AI initiatives. Premier Li Keqiang recently spoke about the importance of AI in China’s future. “The development of AI has come to a tipping point,” he said. “Whichever country makes a breakthrough in application can have a bigger chance to lead the world in AI technology.”
