During this critical period of global energy transition and climate governance, CCUS technology is not only significant for reducing industrial emissions and improving energy efficiency but also serves as a vital pathway for achieving deep decarbonization and ensuring energy security. To delve into the latest advancements, challenges, policy directions, and future trends of CCUS technology, and to collectively advance the realization of global carbon neutrality goals, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), in collaboration with the National Natural Science Foundation of China's China 21st Century Agenda Management Center, the UNESCO Chair on "Carbon Neutrality and Green Transformation Driven by Climate Change," and other institutions, will host the "3rd International CCUS Conference in Beijing on May 28-29, 2025. The conference aims to establish an international, high-level platform for exchange, bringing together leading scholars, industry experts, policymakers, and corporate representatives from the global CCUS field to jointly contribute to the research, development, application, and commercialization of CCUS technology.
