Event Details
In January 2023, the US House of Representatives set up a Select Committee "to investigate and submit policy recommendations on the status of the Chinese Communist Party's economic, technological, and security progress and its competition with the United States." After several public hearings over the course of the last year, the Select Committee has made policy recommendations with regards to human rights and military modernization, and has now published a report, titled "Reset, Prevent, Build" that outlines a strategy for Washington's economic and technological competition with China.
Join several members of the bipartisan Select Committee's professional staff, who will outline some of the highlights from this 53-page report, explain what it means for US companies in China and discuss the implications for doing business with China.
