Mr. Zhang Sheng is Senior Manager of IBM Supply Chain Service (SCS) team, providing consulting service and outsourcing service to external clients. IBM Supply Chain Service team provides unique expertise from internal resource of IBM’s supply chain teams in support of clients’ supply chain transformation and optimization, including strategy and planning, business process reengineering, total quality management, business analytics for supply chain system, new technology introduction, operation improvement and business outsourcing.
Mr. Zhang Sheng joined IBM in 2007 and held positions in IBM Procurement as Senior Manager of Asia Pacific Production Procurement Dept., Cost Management Leader, Global Commodity Manager. As Senior Manager of IBM SCS, he leads and delivers projects cross industries, like Retail & Foods, Energy & Utility, Internet+, Manufacturing. In the food industry, he held experiences on foodservice supply chain optimization, food traceability platform. etc.. He is focusing on management reinvention of supply chain with new technologies, like Block chain, AI, IoT, etc..
Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Zhang Sheng worked as procurement project manager for HUAWEI, he also worked as university teacher in Wuhan University of Technology. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronic and Information Engineering and a master’s degree in Communication & Information System from Wuhan University of Technology.
