Lin has over 20 years’ experience with Fortune 500 companies both in China and the U.S. across the areas of government affairs, IT, supply chain and marketing. She held the position of senior director of Global Government Affairs at Motorola Solutions China, and was responsible for managing relationship with various government bodies and trade associations for business advocacy. She was also responsible for corporate governance as well as CSR programs in Motorola Solutions China. Prior to this role, Lin had held multiple senior positions in Motorola including CIO for Asia Pacific, responsible for delivering end to end IT solutions for the region. She had also led a global IT team and a $8M IT global portfolios for Sales & Marketing.
As an active member of the community, Lin has been serving on the board of AmCham since 2013 and is very passionate about advancing American businesses’ interests in China. She is also the co-founder and co-chair of the AmCham Women Professional Committee that promotes women leadership development and diversity. Lin gives back to the society by advising a number of domestic and international NGOs including 100K Strong Foundation, a U.S. – China joint initiative to deepen Americans’ understanding of China through study abroad.
Lin held a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Nottingham Trent University and an MBA from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a sought-after trainer, column writer and speaker in cross cultural business communication, government relations and strategic philanthropy. Lin is also a certified Leadership coach helping executives to further enhance their leadership skills.
