Please join us for a members-only discussion of recent Chinese policy changes that impact foreign business in China and an explanation of AmCham China's advocacy on these issues.

AmCham China continuously monitors Chinese government agencies for legal and regulatory changes that may affect our members. To improve transparency the Chinese government releases policy drafts for comments from the public for up to 30 days before later releasing a final version of the law or regulation. AmCham China has commented on a number of draft policies in recent months. This briefing is the first in a series of presentations on the proposed new/revised policies. The briefing will feature a description of the new legislation and/or amendments, a summary of AmCham China's position, and Q&A session to provide members a chance to raise questions or provide feedback.
Legislative changes to be covered include:
1. 2nd Draft of the Copyright Law (National Copyright Administration of China) – Tim Smith, Rouse LLP
2. Draft Amendment to the Labor Contract Law (Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China) – Chris Lin, DLA Piper
3. 4th Revision of the Patent Law (State Intellectual Property Office) – Zhang Yan, IBM
