China and the Environment Series: Working Collectively to Solve China’s Environmental Issues
Don't miss this next China and the Environment Series event, an AmCham China event series that focuses on the top environmental issues of the day in China. This lunch presentation will feature Professor Christopher Marquis of Harvard Business School. Professor Marquis will focus on some recent efforts by the Chinese government and companies to improve the environmental situation in China.
His most recent research addresses how part of the challenge of solving environmental issues in China is a lack of human capital and skills, and in particular examines the work of the government and local companies to overcome these issues. He will also touch on some of his findings in areas such as the increasing transparency and sustainability of Chinese firms, environmental entrepreneurship and social investment.
