Dr. Ding Wei, PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, is currently employed with Oracle China as Senior Director of Standards Strategy and Policy. Dr. Ding directs standardization and policy strategy for the business interests of Oracle China. Prior to this position in Oracle, he was working for Intel (China) Co. Ltd as Standardization Specialist, and previously, he acted as the Standards Strategy Manager in Sun Microsystems, where he managed Sun’s standardization strategies, activities, and portfolio in China.

Dr. Hong holds a Doctorate of Judicial Science from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. His research focueses on legal issues associated with data protection and cybersecurity.

Joanna Mao joined the United States Information Technology Office (USITO) in September 2015 serving as its Deputy Managing Director. Prior to that, Joanna was employed with Lenovo, Intel, A.P. Muller. Maersk, Microsoft and Ogilvy & Mather. She has 17 years of marketing, communication and partner management experience in the information technology sector, and while serving as spokeswoman, oversaw government affairs in North Asia. Joanna was once in investment banking, providing counseling for Chinese companies seeking overseas listings while serving for ING Baring.

As Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China (AmCham China) and Chair of its Policy Committee and Insurance Forum, Les Ross is a longstanding leader of the American business and legal communities in China and in frequent contact with government officials and other stakeholders.

Mr. Ross concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions and regulatory matters and has experience in a broad range of industries. He has represented both foreign and local companies and has particular experience advising foreign companies on competition law and regulatory compliance in China.

Mr. Ross represents foreign companies in their strategic expansion in China through direct investments and mergers and acquisitions in industries ranging alphabetically from agriculture to water services. He also has extensive experience representing foreign banks and corporations, including Chinese entities, in their strategic expansion in the United States, particularly focusing on M&A and regulatory clearances and compliance. He has also represented clients in trade, dispute resolution and regulatory matters in China.

Dr. Shaobin Wang, Chief Information Security Advisor, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Greater China Region, Co-Chair of Cyber Security Group in USITO(United States Information Technology Office), supervisor of postgraduate in information security department of Beijing University.

He has over 20 years’ experiences in security technology and academic research. He worked as Postdoctoral in State key laboratory of information security of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He also worked as the Co-Chair of TCG GCRF (Trusted Computing Group, Greater China Regional Forum), and Intel Senior Security Specialist, etc. He has published sixteen invention patents, sixteen academic papers and two professional books.

Gu Wei is the Deputy Director of Alibaba Group Legal Research Center, where he is responsible for information security research and legal risk compliance. He also holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Law at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

He has written and contributed to several publications on the Cybersecurity Law including: "Comparative research protection of Critical Information Infrastructure in the United States and China." "Online e-government," "Key Information Infrastructure Protection System,” "International Security and Communication Confidentiality," "Research on Legal Procedures for Access to Electronic Data by American Government Agencies," "Information Security and Communication," "Information Security and Communication," “American Network Security Review Mechanism and Impact,” and “Information Security and Confidentiality” among others.
