人们通常认为中国的90后是娇生惯养、自恋、缺乏忠诚度的一代。然而,BOLDMOVES China最新发布的研究表明,事实并非如此。该研究涵盖了中国5个城市,涉及120多名参与者和900多名调查对象。通过调查中国四代人希望为哪些类型的上司工作以及何时对自己的工作表现最满意,这项研究或许能告诉雇主如何吸引和留住年轻人才及毕业生。

为此,中国美国商会人力资源论坛和教育委员会将与北京大学国家发展研究院共同举办“培养下一代领袖-如何培养并吸引年轻人才”的研讨会。演讲嘉宾有BOLDMOVES China创始人Cindy Jensen、科锐国际总裁郭鑫、北京大学国家发展研究院BiMBA商学院联席院长杨壮教授、马里兰大学罗伯特H史密斯商学院执行理事David Liu、微软高级项目主管Xiuyan Du、以及彭博项目负责人Jessica Zhou。我们将以“中国的四代人”为视角来理解年轻一代在员工敬业度方面和老一代有哪些相同和相异之处,并探讨一系列话题:

    Managing Director, Founder, BOLDMOVES China

    Cindy Jensen is the Founder of BOLDMOVES China, a boutique consulting firm with a focus in Strategy Development, Executive Coaching and Leadership Development.

    She is a seasoned executive spending her corporate years working with Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo as part of the senior leadership team working over a span of ten years in multiple functions including HR, Sales & Operations and Trade Marketing. She later joined TELUS Mobility as National Account Manager overseeing the company’s two largest retail corporate accounts. Cindy works extensively throughout Asia Pacific working with leaders and their teams.

    BOLDMOVES China has just completed a China-wide research project with a focus on “Generational Differences and the Impact on Employee Engagement.” The goal of the research to is understand the generational similarities and differences in attitudes around work and life in China.

    Cindy is a Canadian and has been living in China for over 15 years and reigns from Vancouver, Canada. She has her BComm from Dalhousie University, Halifax Canada and her Executive MBA from Rutgers University.
    She is a certified ICF ACC coach and is currently qualifying for her PCC. Cindy also serves on the Board of Educating Girls in Rural China a charity that focuses on providing scholarship funding for continued education to women from rural China.

    Xin Guo

    President & CEO, Career International

    Prior to joining Career International, Mr. Guo was the Managing Director for Mercer Greater China and a global senior partner at Mercer. He was also the Chairman of Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) in China. MMC is the parent company of Mercer. During his 10 year tenure at Mercer, Mr. Guo Xin had held a variety of leadership positions, including Asia Pacific Human Capital business leader and Deputy Head for Asia Pacific with responsibilities of leading Asia.
    In the past 20 years, he has held various management positions in consulting industry both in the US and China. His consulting expertise is mostly in working with clients on developing strategic organization structures, business processes, and human resource systems. His clients include local private and listed companies, state-owned enterprises and multinational companies in and outside of China.
    Mr. Guo graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautic with the bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and the master‘s degree in Systems Engineering. He also received an MBA degree from University of San Francisco in the United States. Mr. Guo Xin is a member of World at Work Global Advisory Board.

    David Liu is the Executive Director of the China Representative Office at the Robert H Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. He oversees all the functions of Robert H. Smith School of Business in China and is responsible for the overall management of the Smith Global Leadership Executive MBA program, Custom Executive Development programs, Career Services and Specialty Master programs. David Liu plays a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction for the Smith School to develop its eminent presence in the Greater China region. Prior to joining the Robert H. Smith School of Business, David was the President and co-founder of the China Star Group, a Conference and Travel Management Company with an annual revenue of 10 million US dollars.

    David Liu received his bachelor degree in Economics from University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) and Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland in 2013.

    David Liu was awarded “Excellence in Leadership” by Beijing Municipal Government for his remarkable contribution during Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. David is very athletic; he has been playing basketball for almost 20 years since high school and right now, he has started to run marathon and cross country running for almost two years. In 2016, the UIBE marathon team he's leading has won top 10 from the 11th Business School’s Xuan Zang Gobi Challenge, which is 4-day running with 112 kms in total.

    Dr. Yang received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Columbia University, New York in 1991, majoring in management. He got his M.A. in Sociology from the same institution in 1985. He was also granted an MPA degree in International and Public Affairs from The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs of Princeton University in 1984. He graduated from the English Language and Literature Department of Peking University, China.
    Dr. Yang’s main teaching and research interests involve Fundamentals of Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Organizational Innovation and Cultural Change, MNC Operation and Management, International Leadership, etc. He has published a large number of articles and columns in leading academic journals and business press in China and the United States.

    Fixed Income Team Leader, Chinese Language, Bloomberg

    Jessica Zhou is Bloomberg News's Team Leader for Chinese language fixed income team, overseeing 11 news crew in Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei. She's worked in the journalism industry in China for more than 7 years, writing about the nation's capital market, as well as the macro economy, government policy and companies.

    Jessica joined Bloomberg in 2009 as a translator in the news room. She had served as speed desk editor from 2010 before being named to her current role at the end of 2013.
    Jessica holds a Master's degree in Finance from the University of New South Wales.
