If you are a parent of a preteen or teenage child, you won’t want to miss this upcoming seminar. Yew Chung International School of Beijing (YCIS Beijing) welcomes Dr Caleb Korngold, Psychiatry Section Chief of Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, to discuss common challenges parents of adolescent children face.
The presentation, titled “Raising a Healthy Teenager: Developmental and Mental Health Perspectives”, will cover a variety of themes, including adolescent development, common parenting challenges, defining successful outcomes for teenagers, substance use problems, and identity issues. A Q&A session will be held immediately after the presentation, giving parents an opportunity to ask Dr Korngold questions directly.
