AmCham China Visit to Wuhan: A Year After COVID-19

Wuhan is the primary city in central China, as a significant industrial base, Wuhan has complete industrial systems including steel, automotive, optoelectronics, chemical, metallurgy, textiles, shipbuilding, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical, among others. Wuhan also is focused on developing world-class industrial clusters such as optical and electronic information, automobiles and parts, biomedicine, and medical devices. The city also possesses three national-level development zones.

We are now post-COVID, and Wuhan did not stop developing because of the virus; instead, the pace of economic and social recovery is faster, the foundation is more solid, and the openness is greater. As international business partner of Wuhan, in order to more fully support Wuhan's post-COVID development, and at the same time help AmCham member companies better understand Wuhan's new investment and business environment and the government's proactive and practical support; AmCham China's Chair will lead a delegation of senior business leaders to Wuhan on March 23-24 to meet with senior provincial and municipal leaders, attending the economic conference , discuss and meeting with local government on industry developments and opportunities in Wuhan.
