AmCham China is excited to host our first in-person Young Professionals networking meetup of 2020! We are honored to welcome Ying Yang, PhD, Pfizer VP and Worldwide Business Development Asia Lead on Tuesday, November 10th at AmCham China's office for what will certainly be a valuable session for young professionals.

Sales play a pivotal role in building trust between customers and a business and salespeople are responsible for building that trust. Are you interested in learning how to improve your sales skills? Want to learn what goes into becoming a great salesperson? Ying Yang currently leads Pfizer's Asia Business Development team, responsible for China Strategy and Asia Business Development, with the goal to bring breakthrough changes to patients' lives, and to accelerate the mid-to-long-term growth in China and Japan through strategic planning of the pipeline portfolio, and asset acquisition and development. She has 19 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, immersing in both western and China cultures, and spanning across strategy, business development, business operations, consulting, drug development and manufacturing. In the past four years Ying has been based in China, and prior to that, she spent 12 years in Pfizer's New York Headquarters across various functions. Ying holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Fudan University in Shanghai.

During the session, Ying will share insights into her professional journey and give career development advice for young professionals. The session will conclude with a Q&A session to discuss other issues as well as a chance to network and get to know other young professionals in the AmCham China community.
