In January 17th, the Young Professionals Committee welcomes Annie Wang. She has been the HRVP, Bayer Pharmaceuticals Division in China since 2012. Now Annie holds the position of HRVP, Bayer Greater China, in addition to her role as HR Business Partner for Pharmaceuticals China & APAC..

Annie is a seasoned HR practitioner in different industries. Over the past 20+ years, Annie had held different HR management positions with multinational companies, such as DHL, Nortel Networks, Edelman, and Schneider Electric. Her study and work experience in China as well as in Canada has enabled her to appreciate different cultural environment and adopt the appropriate approach to tackle the cross-cultural issues.

During the session, Annie will share her professional journey more than 20 years in the multiple industries. She will also give career development advice for young professionals. The session will conclude with a Q&A session to discuss other issues as well as network and get to know other young professionals in the AmCham China community.

Space is limited to just 15 motivated young professionals from within the AmCham China community to share resources and best practices for success and career development. Young professionals interested in expanding their network, becoming more involved with AmCham China, and getting to know their peers in the expat business community should register for this informal discussion.
