China's Measures for Cybersecurity Review (The "Measures") went into effect on June 1, 2020. According to the Measures, service carriers of critical information infrastructure should conduct cybersecurity reviews when purchasing network products and services that affect or may affect national security. These measures provide an important institutional guarantee for China to conduct cybersecurity review. Therefore, relevant enterprises and stakeholders should have thorough understanding about the newly implemented Measures for Cybersecurity Review and appropriate compliance measures accordingly. Given the significance of the Measures and the level of impact it would bring to our members from various sectors, AmCham China ICT Forum feels obliged to provide an in-depth briefing from legal perspective for our business community fellows to have more insights into the following aspects of the Measures:

• Legislation evolution

• Major changes

• Compliance

• Focus discussion
